The Slide Trap is a block added by the Twilight Forest mod, that will move back and forth, dealing a lot of damage to any entity that touches it. At the moment, the Slide Trap cannot be obtained in Survival mode.
A Slide Trap, that has been placed on the bottom or top of a block, and that is therefor standing upwards, will always try to move in East-West direction. When it has been placed on the side, it will always try to move up and down. If it cannot move up and down, it will try to move East-West and vice versa. It will never move in the North-South direction. The Slide Trap will always try to travel 25 blocks at an average speed of 10 blocks per second. It will pass any unsolid blocks and when it hits a solid block it will stop and back-track. Blocks with a combination of solid and empty parts, like Doors for example, will break the Slide Trap and let it drop as an item.
Any mob that walks into the Slide Trap will get 2.5 hearts (
) of damage and will be knocked several blocks away.
Usage[edit]
Slide Trap has no known uses in crafting.
