Radioisotope Heat Generator is a block added by the IndustrialCraft2 mod. It is a heat-producing variant of Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator. It can produce between 2 and 64 (1 and 32 in older versions) HU/t of heat using Pellets of RTG Fuel placed inside it.
The heat production rate rises exponentially with the amount of pellets, with 1 pellet producing 2 HU/t and 6 producing 64 HU/t (in other words doubled by each additional pellet). Although the generation rate is relatively low and the pellets are fairly expensive, they will never get used up, making the RHG the most efficient infinite heat source in standard IC2.
Unlike a Nuclear Reactor, a RHG will never emit radiation, overheat or explode in any way.
