The Advanced Heat Vent is mainly a component used in a Nuclear Reactor to dissipate the heat generated by Uranium Cells. An upgraded version of the Heat Vent, it functions similarly, but dissipates 12 units of heat from itself per tick over the 6 of the Heat Vent. It does not provide any cooling to the reactor directly, requiring placement directly adjacent to a Uranium Cell or Heat Exchanger in order to facilitate cooling. The "Advanced Heat Vent" can also be used to craft the Booster Engine, which is used in the Advanced Electric Jetpack.

In 1.5.2 versions of Gregtech, the Vent acts as a Cover, reducing power consumption of the attached machine by 3%.
