Steam Compressor is a block added by the GregTech 4 mod. It can be used for the same purposes as the IndustrialCraft2 Compressor, using Steam as a fuel. It smelts 1 item in 600 ticks (30 seconds) and requires 8 steam millibuckets per tick for a total of 4.8 steam buckets per item.
Note that Steam Vent of the Steam Compressor must be uncovered in order for it to function. If it is blocked, the machine operation will be stuck after 1st operation. In order to turn it, one should right-click on machine with a Wrench.
