Steam Furnace is a block added by the GregTech 4 mod. It can be used for smelting items like the vanilla Furnace, using Steam as a fuel. It smelts 1 item in 400 ticks (20 seconds) and requires 8 steam millibuckets per tick for a total of 3.2 steam buckets per item.
Note that Steam Vent of the Steam Furnace must be uncovered in order for it to function. If it is blocked, the machine operation will be stuck after 1st operation. In order to turn it, one should right-click on machine with a Wrench.
