Sturdy Grinder is a block added by the GregTech 4 mod. It can be used to grind ores and other items. It uses Steam as fuel. Steam usage and time depend on recipe:

Note that Steam Vent of the Sturdy Grinder must be uncovered in order for it to function. If it is blocked, the machine operation will be stuck after 1st operation. In order to turn it, one should right-click on machine with a Wrench.
When grinding most items, the Sturdy Grinder will work exactly like Automatic Macerator, except for being powered by Steam rather than EU. However, when grinding ores, the Grinder gives output of Universal Macerator but divided by half.

Aluminium Machine Hull can be substituted with the following items: 
Basic Machine Casing, 
Iron Machine Hull, 
Machine Box, 
Bronze Machine Hull, 
Brass Machine Hull.
Iron Hammer (GregTech 4) can be substituted with the following items: 
Bronze Hammer (GregTech 4), 
Steel Hammer (GregTech 4), 
Tungstensteel Hammer.
Steel Wrench can be substituted with the following items: 
Iron Wrench, 
Bronze Wrench, 
Tungstensteel Wrench, 
Electric Wrench (GregTech 4), 
Advanced Wrench.
Piston can be substituted with 
Sticky Piston.
Diamond can be substituted with 
Industrial Diamond.
