The Void Transport Pipe is an item added by the BuildCraft mod. It can be used in conjunction with an item transport system, such as Itemduct or Pipe to annihilate undesired and excess items, thus avoiding stuffing and possibly reducing frame rate lag, especially with a transparent transport system. This is a more efficient way to get rid of items than dropping them into Lava or letting them despawn. Care is recommended in the placement of this item in the system, as is the use of a filter such as a Diamond Transport Pipe, Filter or Retriever to prevent loss of valuables.
