The Advanced Crafting Table is a machine added by BuildCraft. It is essentially an Assembly Table that is used to craft normal crafting recipes.
The recipe is placed in the top 3-by-3 matrix, and the resources in the table's inventory. When powered by a Laser it produces the item and places it into its inventory, or if there is no room inside it pops out of the table, or is placed in any connected transport pipe. The advanced crafting table is much faster than the regular Auto Workbench.
Advanced crafting tables will pull crafting ingredients from adjacent inventories, including other advanced crafting tables.
The table can't be used like a normal crafting table as the items placed in the crafting grid aren't used and the item that shows up in the result tile can't be picked up. It is thus only useful for mass production.
