Embarking Track is a kind of track used to load entities (players and mobs) into minecarts. It is typically paired with Disembarking Track for use in automatic mob farms. When unpowered, it stops and holds minecarts in place. When powered, it will automatically teleport an entity in range into the minecart above it. This allows you to load entities into a cart through solid walls.

The default range is 2 blocks but it can be altered by right clicking the track with a Crowbar. Range is determined by a straight-line distance--it will even load entites located above or below the track as long as they are within range.

The teleportation effect can make it extremely difficult to approach the track if it is powered. To make yourself immune to the effect, simply hold a Crowbar in your hand.
