The Grinder is primarily used to grind Canola Seeds into lubricant. Lubricant is needed for all gearboxes to work, except for the bedrock ones. Canola seeds can be found the same as regular seeds - breaking grass, but can also be found in dungeon chests. This machine can be used to multiply ores, but the Extractor (RotaryCraft) multiplies them by a greater amount.
The Grinder has a built-in tank that holds 4 buckets (4000 mb) of lubricant. This can be piped out and distributed by connecting Lubricant Hoses to it.
RotaryCraft Handbook Entry
The Grinder does exactly what its name suggests - it grinds things. Stone to cobblestone, cobble to gravel, gravel to sand, that sort of thing. It also plays a critical role in the lubrication of gearboxes - it grinds the Canola Seeds into an oil usable as lubricant. This machine's operational speed goes up as the input speed does.
The following requirements must be met before the Grinder is able to grind resources.
A simple set-up for the machine is to have it powered by a Steam Engine (RotaryCraft) through a 4:1 gearbox of at least Stone. Use a Lubricant Hose to transfer lubricant from itself to the gearbox that is helping power it. You can use 8:1 or even 16:1 Gearboxes, however they are slower.
