The Socket Remote is an essential item for configuring modules installed in Modular Sockets from Engineer's Toolbox.
The Socket Remote has seven different modes:
- Blue: Tank Selection Mode, right-clicking on an installed module will switch which internal tank is selected for that module.
- Green: Inventory Selection Mode, right-clicking on an installed module will switch which internal inventory is selected for that module.
- Red: Redstone Circuit Select Mode, right-clicking on an installed module will switch which redstone circuit is selected for that module.
- Dark Purple: Redstone Latch Select Mode, right-clicking on an installed module will switch which redstone latch is selected for that module.
- White: Generic Mode, this mode will do various things depending on the item use on. Pressing shift while hovering over a module will display what this mode does, if anything.
- Yellow: Module Lock Mode, right-clicking on a Modular Socket will lock it, preventing it from being dismantled or any modules from being removed. Right-clicking again will unlock the Modular Socket.
- Aqua: Facade Removal Mode, right-clicking on a Facade installed on a Modular Socket will remove it. This does not return the Facade.
To switch between modes, hold shift and right-click with the remote in your character's hand.
