The Oreberry Bush is a block added by the Tinkers' Construct mod. A block generated in the world around level 32 in five types: Aluminum, Copper, Gold, Iron and Tin. It grows a special Oreberry which can be harvested and used for crafting, crafted into Ingots or smelted into a nugget [1]. The Oreberry Bush has 3 stages of growth, it produces a berry in its final stage, but doesn't propagate. The Berry can be harvested by either hitting or 'Right-clicking' on the bush when the Berry is visible. The Oreberry Bush may only be planted in light level 6 or below (as it grows and produce best in a dark environment) and on an opaque block [2]. The Oreberry Bush causes damage when touched, similar to that of a cactus, however it does not destroy items that come into contact with it. If a Player dies from contact with a Bush, the message is "<Player> was pricked to death".

Note[edit]

  1. The Unifier from MineFactory Reloaded, may be used to turn the Oreberry into a nugget without smelting, an instant process that doesn't require energy.Alternatively, one may use the Compacting Drawer from the Storage Drawers mod to perform this task automatically, also without requiring any energy.
  2. The Oreberry Bush cannot be initially placed on top of another, but the block it is planted on may be removed and it will persist, so essentially it may be planted vertically adjacent to one another given that it is done from top to bottom.
  • Automation: It is possible to use the Harvester from MineFactory Reloaded for harvesting.
