Hubris is a 3rd party mod-pack heavily based on Thaumcraft and its negative effect, Taint. In this pack the player takes on the role of a powerful mage that is tasked with protecting the remainder of pure magic after a group of evil mages corrupt the essence of magic, creating Taint. With no one to stop the Taint, it spreads across the lands consuming anything in its path. The great mage awakens from stasis to revert the destruction of the disaster.
