The Improved Windmill is a block added by the Immersive Engineering mod, which generates RF in a connected Kinetic Dynamo. To connect to the dynamo, first place the dynamo down at least 4 blocks off the ground. Then shift-right-click the dynamo with the improved windmill in-hand. The improved windmill will then turn generating RF depending on its height in the world and how open the space in front of it is (higher and more open are better). It will also run faster when the weather is raining or snowing. It produces twice as much RF as the standard windmill, but is more difficult to craft.
When placed in the world, a single windmill takes up 1 x 5 x 5 blocks.
