The Ender Transmitter is an upgrade item added by the Extra Utilities mod. The Ender Transmitter is an upgrade for the Transfer Node (Energy) and (Hyper Energy). In its native state (immediately after crafting) the receiver is not useful, it must first be set to a frequency by naming it on the anvil, costing 5 levels per receiver in the stack. It can also be set to a private frequency (only sending and receiving to those owned by the same player) by right-clicking while holding it. Once set to a frequency and placed in an energy transfer node the transmitter will attempt to draw RF from the buffer of it's transfer node and fill the buffers of all transfer nodes containing an Ender Receiver of matching frequency at a rate of 240 RF/tick per transmitter per receiver regardless of whether that node is connected by a Transfer Pipe or even in the same dimension.

The transmitter itself does not seem to have a transfer limit, but is mostly limited by the number of nodes it is transmitting to, followed by the capacity of its own node.

The transmitter can send power to any number of receiving nodes, and will increase its power draw on it's own node for each receiving node. At more than 41 ender trasmitters, receiving nodes, or any combination of the two that multiply together to make more than 41 the full capacity of a standard energy transfer node will be exceeded, and each transmitter will be forced to draw less power from the node, thereby effectively dividing the full capacity of the node evenly among the receiving nodes. The same holds true for a hyper energy transfer node, but in the amount 4166 rather than 41.

A standard energy transfer node can benefit from up to 42 ender transmitters, which will transmit its whole buffer of 10,000 RF each tick to any number of receiving nodes. A hyper energy transfer node can benefit from up 384 transmitters (as many as it can contain) which will transmit 92,160 RF/t per receiver, allowing it to transmit to up to 10 hyper transfer nodes (or 100 standard nodes) before being limited by its own capacity.

Ender transmitters have a lower priority than loads connected via transfer pipe. If a machine on the transfer network is consuming all of the RF produced or all of the RF that a node can transfer then none of it will go to the ender transmitter.

Even though each node can only use one ender receiver and can only receive on one frequency at a time, a node can transmit on as many as 6 frequencies at once, 5 if it is also receiving.

Usage[edit]

Ender Transmitter has no known uses in crafting.

Note[edit]

These will not load the chunks they occupy and will cease to function in a chunk that is not loaded. A Chunk Loader or World Anchor is needed for reliable use.

Tip[edit]

Using multiple nodes with many ender transmitters is a good way of sending large amounts of power between points. Having more than one receiver node will also greatly increase the amount of power than can be transmitted.
