Mods[edit]

I think the mod enchants should be separated entirely by the mod that adds them, thoughts? User Page. ƒelinoel_Contributions 19:01, 4 November 2013 (CET)

Hmm. It's an idea, but I also like the current layout becuase it makes it easy to see what every enchantment for, say, a sword is without needing to hop around the mods. For example, I was enchanting a sword, and was wondering what the different enchantments were, so I came to this page and they were all neatly lined up for easy reference. --Kahless61 (talk) 20:09, 4 November 2013 (CET)
Actually, I lied a little bit. I only just added sorting to the tables about 5 minutes ago :-p --Kahless61 (talk) 20:10, 4 November 2013 (CET)
I think the sorting is sufficient unless we get a new mod with a ton of new enchantments. Thanks Kahless! :p Celestial Oblivion (talk) 20:32, 4 November 2013 (CET)
We do have a new mod with a ton of enchantments, DartCraft. ƒelinoel ~ (Talk) 05:26, 5 November 2013 (CET)
Well I haven't used dartcraft yet but my gut feeling is to agree with Kahless, especially as it seems all the Dartcraft enchantments are in fact linked on the dartcraft page. I don't know where else I'd find all sword enchantments on this wiki. Celestial Oblivion (talk) 06:12, 5 November 2013 (CET)
But I'd suggest to keep DartCraft enchants on a separate page, as they are specific to DartCraft tools (if I understand it correctly). --dgelessus (talk · contribs) 07:50, 5 November 2013 (CET)
Agreed. Afaik, dartcraft enchants aren't enchants in the traditional sense of the word any more than Tinkers Construct tool modifiers are, since they don't affect vanilla tools or the enchantment table; they are only specific to their own tools. However, now that you mention them, I would be in favor of mentioning/linking them for this article as an "alternative to enchanting", but not necessarily listing them out. --Kahless61 (talk) 15:49, 5 November 2013 (CET)
Oh... they aren't actual enchantments? User Page. ƒelinoel_Contributions 23:07, 7 November 2013 (CET)

Repair on Anything?[edit]

If I enchant a book with Repair I/II, can I apply it to an item of my choosing (such as those AWESOME AMAZING SUPER-FANTASTICAL TECHNICOLOR GLASSES)? Thanks a bunch. --66.41.29.241 14:47, 30 May 2014 (CEST) ~Titan

Not that I've found. It seems it can only be applied to certain Thaumcraft tools/items. Although it's very easy to find out - grab glasses, grab Repair book, grab anvil, grab a few levels, ???, Profit? --71.162.136.162 15:32, 30 May 2014 (CEST)
