RFTools is a technological mod by McJty which main feature is the ability to create and maintain dimensions using RF energy. First introduced in MC v.1.7.10, RFTools split into a suite of mods starting with RFTools Dimensions in MC v.1.8.9, and fully compartmentalizing by MC v.1.14. Its most well known feature is custom dimensions that allow the player to create truly unique worlds by combining Dimlets into a Realized Dimension Tab. The inter-dimensional teleportation system can also be used locally. The suite of redstone logic gates strike a nice balance between ease of use and flexibility. One new ore is added to world generation, the Dimensional Shard Ore, but only in non-Overworld dimensions. It has a very high power demand for end game setups and pairs best with a powerful RF generation mod such as Draconic Evolution or Big Reactors.
Features include:
- Autocrafting
- Player teleportation
- RF network monitoring tools
- Item filters
- Shield system
- Interactive screens
- Wireless redstone system
- Modular Beacon-like system
- RF based Block Protector (protect blocks against explosions and harvesting attempts)
- Mob spawning
