Talk:One-Way Glass (Secret Rooms)

For me, when I place this between Redpower marble brick and an iron door, it camouflages to sand... any idea why? It's not too much of a problem in this case. All I *really* care is that people can't see what I'm doing before they open my door, but it completely throws off the aesthetics of my otherwise perfect marble brick house :( Macks2008 (talk) 00:45, 5 June 2013 (CEST)

One-Way Glass (and the other camo blocks) search the blocks around them to find a block that they can change textures into. Since your house is made entirely of mod blocks (marble brick) which is not compatible with SecretRoomsMod blocks and, adjacent to your SRM block, an iron door (blocks that are not full blocks are also incompatible, regardless of vanilla or mod status) the SRM block is picking a random texture due to the nature of RedPower. Sometimes it defaults to bedrock, sometimes to some other vanilla block, but it never does work quite right with blocks that aren't vanilla, and even with vanilla blocks it doesn't work perfectly.
