Redstone Paste is an item which can transmit Redstone signal and acts like a redstone wire in general. Unlike vanilla Redstone, the Redstone Paste is capable of running on any surface, including walls and ceilings.
It is possible to run two Redstone Paste wires next to each other without them connecting, making it possible to create compact redstone networks. To choose the direction the wire should go to, simply click with paste on that side of the block. Straight lines, T-shaped connections, turns and crosses are possible.
Note: it takes 2 pieces of Redstone Paste to make the wire run from one side of the block to another. Covering all possible sides of the surface with Redstone Paste can be done at once by using Shift+right-click on the center of the block.
