To push of pull blocks with the Mechanic Piston the player will need an Extension. Extensions can push up to 13 blocks in front of them. Unlike vanilla pistons, they can push blocks with tile entities like chests.
Normal Extension[edit]
The Normal Extension is just like a normal piston- it pushes blocks, but does not bring them back. When placed on a rod instead of directly interfaced with the Mechanic Piston, it can be placed on all sides.
Sticky Extension[edit]
The Sticky Extension does everything the normal extension can, but it also functions like a sticky piston.
Super Sticky Extension[edit]
Super sticky extensions can drag blocks even if they are not in the same direction as the motion of the mechanic piston. For example, if the rods are moving backwards, and there is a Super Sticky Extension facing upwards, the block will be dragged along, unlike with the other two extensions.
