The Desk is a usable book storage added by BiblioCraft. It allows the player to display Books and Quills as well as written books. One Desk can hold a total of 9 books and will display the amount accordingly. The interface then allows the player to customize the location of the books on the desk.
Books can be placed directly on the desk by right-clicking it with an accepted book. If the desk is full or if it is right-clicked without an accepted book the interface will be opened instead. To quickly pull a book off the desk, shift-click the Desk with an empty hand.
The candle on the desk will emit a light level of 6 and is too weak to keep mobs from spawning.
The Desk can be crafted with any type of vanilla wood. Depending on the wood type it is crafted with, the desk will have the matching wood color. Wood types can not be mixed.
